Why I bought it: One of the best girl (women?) group I've heard, great record, nice outfits (female version of the Spotnicks?). The title song is Joann's answer to Elvis' song Release me and she's singing it while commiting suicide (so how he'll be released)! And they even cover Ode To Billie Joe: "It was the third of June another sleepy dusty Delta day/I was out choppin' cotton and my brother was a bailin' hay …"
They sure come a long way since then.
